MOT Coaches’ Basic Education – August 2024

MOT Coaches' Basic Education training for teachers and lecturers WCED (3)

In August 2024, MOT South Africa successfully hosted its third MOT Coaches’ Basic Education training for the year, welcoming a new cohort of MOT Coaches from Western Cape High School, TVET Colleges and Community Organisations. This intensive training provided our educators, lecturers and youth workers with the tools and knowledge to effectively facilitate the MOT programme with their students.

Purpose of the MOT Coaches’ Basic Education

The training aimed to:

  • Equip participants with knowledge and insight into MOT’s comprehensive global life skills concept.
  • Build a sense of ownership and commitment to the MOT philosophy.
  • Prepare participants to be effective MOT Coaches and communicators, guiding the next generation not just through teaching, but by holistically supporting the growth of young people.
